Mithran Healthcare Centre is a Siddha- and Ayurveda-based holistic medical clinic located at 22, Sengunthapuram, 4th Cross Road, Karur, Tamil Nadu 639002, India. Established in 1975 by Vaithiyar Palanisamy Subbiah, it has grown from a rural practice into a multi-branch healthcare provider serving patients across Tamil Nadu and beyond. The Karur branch focuses on traditional treatments for chronic ailments and wellness care.
Founding and Philosophy
Rooted in Siddha principles, the centre operates on the “Mission of Health for All” philosophy. It emphasizes balancing the body’s three humors—Vaadham, Pittham, and Kapam—through natural therapies, lifestyle guidance, and herbal formulations. Its founder, an Enlisted Siddha Medical Practitioner certified by the Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council in 1998, established the practice to make traditional medicine accessible to village communities.
Treatments and Specialties
Mithran Healthcare Centre offers integrated Siddha and Ayurvedic treatments for conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and other chronic skin diseases; male and female sexual disorders; kidney stones; piles and fistula; sinusitis; and digestive issues. Additional services include Varma therapy for musculoskeletal pain, Panchakarma detoxification, PCOD management, and de-addiction programs addressing alcohol and tobacco dependence.
Patient Care and Reach
The centre’s approach combines individualized diagnosis with traditional diagnostic tools such as Envakai Thervukal (Eightfold Examination). It provides continuous care through experienced practitioners and reports positive patient feedback for accurate diagnosis, affordable treatment, and personalized follow-up. Mithran Healthcare Centre also maintains branch facilities in Trichy and Hyderabad to extend its Siddha-based healthcare model to a wider population.
